Paradise Beach Resort is a new build resort on the east-coast from Zanzibar. We are offering different room styles and bungalows. In the Indian Ocean there is a jetty with bar and lounge area. The Restaurant is offering live-cooking and a a-la carte service. The Pizza & Burger bar is located direct on the beach. All rooms have ocean view. The hotel is only 35 km away from Air/Ferry port and Stonetown. The resort is offering a wide selection of Safari's, Excursions, Diving, Car rent and much more. Stone Town Tour (half day)
This two or three hours tour begins with a visit to Zanzibar's colorful market, alive with the buzz of locals bartering fresh vegetables and baskets of tropical fruit, amongst the heady aroma of herbs and spices, we continue onto the site of a cathedral built in 1874 then to the Zanzibar Museum, Tippu Tip's House, the former British Club, the Old Fort and the recently renovated Indian Dispensary. Spice Tour (half day)
Kizimbani is among the areas for the spice tour. We will visit the spice plantations where you will have the opportunity to pick, smell, and savour fruits and spices which you have probably never seen on the supermarket shelf, Cloves, star fruit, tangerine trees, lemon grass, mangos teen, 'lipstick trees', to name but a few what you can expect to see! This is the cheapest place to buy locally made perfumes and oils. Prison island Tour (Half day)
After breakfast we drive to Zanzibar Stone Town to catch our boat to Prison island. The island offers a stunning view of the Town especially during the night; there is very beautiful minor sandy beach where swimming on the crystal waters is marvelous. The coral reefs surrounding the island provide an opportunity of snorkeling. This is also a home of the giant tortoise, which is now under strict conservation. A short-guided tour around the island will provide the real picture. Dolphin Tour (Half day)
Kizimkazi is the fishing village for a dolphin tour, after arriving we take a motorized boat and start searching for dolphins. If we are lucky we can use about 5 to 10 minutes cruising on search of dolphins. After swimming with them we go to shallow water for snorkeling before getting back to the beach for taking shower, have lunch and a bit of beach leisure. Safari Blue (Full day)
This is a full day trip on locally constructed sailing dhows ,fitted with outboard motors, marine VHF radios, life jackets and other security requirements. The dhow anchors in a safe and shallow area to allow for snorkeling. High quality snorkeling material are provided, and a large range of sizes is available. Lunch is served on a sand bank or on one of the many uninhabited island in the region. A traditional dish of barbecued fish, rice, lentils and fish curry is serves. Chilled fruit juice, mineral water, and bottled soft drinks are available throughout the tour. After lunch, clients can sail on an outrigger canoe carved out of a single mango tree, snorkel and swim or just relax. Return to Fumba is by sail, wind permitting, and clients arrive back at their hotel at about 1730 hrs.
