Day 01: Arrival Kigali + Overnight

Arrival in Kigali International Airport. Meet & Greet Services, then transfer to your hotel for overnight.

Day 02: Kigali City Tour/Volcanoes National Park

Morning, enjoy orientation tour of Kigali City, including visiting the Genocide Memorial. Lunch at the Hôtel des Mille Collines - featured in the film “Hotel Rwanda”, regarding the 1994 Rwanda Genocide Against the Tutsis. Afternoon drive to the Volcanoes National Park for overnight at your Hotel 94km, 2.5hrs

Day 03: Volcanoes National Park – Gorillas Trek/Leisure

Morning, enjoy the ultimate one-in-a-life-time adventure – Mountain Gorillas Encounter. Freshen up and lunch at the lodge, followed by afternoon at leisure. Optional activities: Visit the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village and/or Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund.

Day 04: Volcanoes National Park – Golden Monkeys Trek/Lake Kivu

Morning, enjoy the Golden Monkeys Trek –the only other member of the primate species residing in the forest. SAME PROCEDURES AS FOR GORILLAS, APPLY. Freshen up and lunch at the lodge, followed by check-out. Afternoon, drive to the central Lake Kivu shores (Karongi/Kibuye) region for overnight. 250km, 3.0hrs.

Day 05: Lake Kivu – Boat Excursion/Nyungwe Forest National Park

Morning, undertake a 02Hours Boat Excursion on the waters of central Lake Kivu, with opportunity to hike the Napoleon Island (home to a large colony of Bats); and if lucky, get to see the Swimming Cows.After lunch at the lodge, continue your journey southwards to Nyungwe Forest region, for overnight.

Day 06: Nyungwe Forest – Chimpanzees & Colobus Monkeys Treks/Leisure.

Early morning, enjoy trekking the Chimpamzees in Nyungwe Forest, Cyamudongo Group. Freshen up and lunch at your lodge. Afternoon, another trek adventure as you visit the Black & White Colobus Monkeys in a different part of the Nyungwe forest.

Day 07: Nyungwe Forest – Kigali/Depart
